Abstract
This paper reported four cases of systemic lupus erythematus (SLE) with neuropsychosis as a main lesion. All cases aer over 60 years of age. The life from the onset of neuropsychosis to death lasted for about 3—16 months. Three cases died within six months. Typical clinical features and therapeutic results were described and the mechanism of the neuro-psychosical symptoms in SLE of old patients were discussed, with particular emphasis on its importance in diagnosis.
