The effects of anti-aldosterone on RAAS and endothelin

  • Objective: To observe the effects on RAAS and E T and the relationship between them by controlling the angiotensin II and aldosteron of RAAS under the premise of controlling blood pressure stably and efficiently Methods: The clinical study: 135 patients with hypertension were observed for one year All of them were divided into three groups randomly, including A (ACEI + spironolactone), B (ACEI) and C (intervention with routine therapeutics excluding the drugs effecting on RAAS) groups Results: Under the same blood pressure controlling precondition, the remedy of an ti aldosterone can inhibit the activation of RAAS and decrease serum ET much mo re than that of ACEI This effect is independent on blood pressure control Conclusion: To inhibit AngII and aldosterone is much better in depressing unsuitable increasing in neuroendocrine hormones related with vessel inju ry and collagan deposition
