A graphical analysis of innovation in medical research

In this paper,based on the semantic networks of unified medical language system（UMlS）,a graphical analysis of innovation in medical research was performed using the directed graph structure of semantic networks in combination with medical literature databases.The present work identified the contents to explore the semantics characteristics of innovation in medical research and to find medical knowledge innovation mechanism from a graphic point of view.
