Three-dimensional imaging and display of the temporomandibular joint

Standard axia ICT data of the temporomandibular joint(TMJ) were manipulated with three-dimensional reconstruction and display techniques. This imaging technique provides a method to view complex anatomy of TMJ from various angles and sections. The ability of rotating images and drawing interesting part allow direct visualization anatomic details of the condyle and other parts and spatial structure relationships of TMJ.The fidelity of the generated images comes close to the anatomic reality.
