Determination and Assessment of Zinc, Copper,Iron,and Manganese IiWhole Diets for Elderly Patients of Hospital

In this one year study the contents of zinc,copper, iron and manganese in 112duplicate diets in elderly wards of hospital were determined results showes mean daily intakeof zinc and copper were 11.68± 0.19 mg and 1.72±0.10 mg respectively,less than therecommended daily allwance （RDA） of 15 mg for zinc and 2-3 mg for copper.However,thelevel of iron in diets was 20.50±0.49 mg,higher than the RDA of 12 mg and mean daily intakeof manganese was 3.41±0.09 mg,just within the safe and adequate daily intakes range of 2.5-5.0mg inspite of a bit Iower intakes of Zn And Cu,we think they can meet the needs ents as well as the interaction among these elements
