Abstract
Objective: To find out the trait of bacteria infection and the drug-sensitivity results and direct the clinical assignment in liver transplant recipients. Methods: The bacteria cultured from the liver transplant recipient during the period of 2003.12-2004.12 and their drug-resistance were analyzed. Results: A total of 44 strains bacteria were cultured from various specimen of 15 liver transplant recipients,63.6% were Gram-negative bacteria(most of them were Pseudomonas aeruginosa ),(27.3%) were Gram-positive ones(the major were S.Epidermidis),the Gram-negative bacteria were more sensitive to Levofloxacin、Impenem、Cefepime、Ciprofloxacin and Amikacin but more resistant to third generation cephalosporin、Aztreonam and Amoxicllin/Clavulanic acid, the Gram-positive bacteria were sensitive to Vancomycin and Teicoplanin but 90% of them were resistant to Penicillin. Conclusion: The effective treatment of bacteria pneumonia after liver transplantation relies on more attention paid to bacteria control.
