Constant-magnetic-field therapy used in treatment of 64 cases of cavernous hemangioma

  • Sixty four cases (28 males and 36 females) of cavernous hemangioma were treated by the use of constant magnetic field therapy. The age of the patients ranged from 1 month to 70 years and the course of illness was from 2 month to 16 years. The results of treatment consisted of cure in 19 cases, marked improvement in 22, improvement in 20 but failure in 3. The total effective rate was 95.31%, and marked improvement and over, 64.06%. Follow-up study was made in 41 cases, showing improvement in 38 cases followed up for 1—6 years, indicating the stability of therapeutic effect.
