Antiviral effect and influence on lymphocyte and dendritic cell of autologous cytokine-in-duced killer cells in patients with liver cirrhosis caused by chornic HBV infection

Abstract
Objective:to observe the antiviral effect and influence on lymphocyte and dendritic cell(DC) of autologous cytokine-induced killer cells(CIK) in patient with liver cirrhosis caused by chornic HBV infection.Methods:33 patients with liver cirrhosis caused by HBV chronic infection were treated with CIK.The quantity of lymphocyte subset,mDC and pDC were detected by flow cytometry before and after CIK treatment.The markers of virology and the adverse seaction were also observed.Results:After treatment,HBV DNA in 12 patients couldn't be detected.The total effective power was 51.5%.HBeAg in 10 patients turned to negative in 14 patients who were positive in HBeAg,among them 5 patients appeared HBeAb conversion. CD8+ T lymphocyte,NKT cell increased in ineffective patients after CIK transfused back,but all of the CD3+,CD4+,CD8+ T lymphocyte and NKT cell increased in effective patients.Besides,the quantity of mDC、 pDC also increased than pre treatment in effective patients.Conclusion:CIK has some antivirol effect in patients with liver cirrhosis caused by chronic HBV infection.Immune cells increase after CIK treatment.
