Abstract
Objective: To investigate complications of fundus angiography with sodium fluorescein, indocyanine green and both of them. Methods: Complications were investigated on a group of 324 consecutive cases under fundus angiography with sodium fluorescein and indocyanine green. Results: The group of fluorescein fundus angiography (FFA) and scanning laser ophthalmoscope (SLO) were significantly more likely to have complications compared with the group of indocyanine green angiography (IC-GA). Conclusions: It is important to improve the safety of fundus angiography (FFA/SLO) by taking care of observation and proper psychological nursing care.
