Clinical application of emergency coronary artery bypass grafting in treatment of acute myocardial infarction

Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of emergency coronary artery bypass grafting（E-CABG） on acute myocardial infarction（AMI）. Methods Forty-five patients with AMI who underwent E-CABG from August 2004 to June 2010 served as AMI group and 70 patients with no AMI who received E-CABG during the same period served as control group（non-AMI group）.The clinical therapeutic effects of E-CABG were compared between the two groups. Results The intra-aortic balloon pump（IABP） and extracorporeal circulation were used more often in AMI group than in non-AMI group（P＜0.05）.No significant difference was found in extracorporeal circulation,complications and mortality between the two groups（P＞0.05）. Conclusion E-CABG can achieve rather good therapeutic effects on AMI.
