A Three-dimensional Finite Element Study on the Temporomandidular Joint

  • Three-dimensional finite element models of human condyle were generated by combining human temporomandibular joint CT data with three-dimensional finite element analysis and computed image operating technique. The results suggested that the method was feasible and useful to clinical and basic study of the temporomandibular joint.
