Effect of nursing intervention on treatment compliance of asthmatic patients in remission stage

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of nursing intervention on treatment compliance of asthmatic patients in remission stage.MethodsSixty-three patients with asthma were randomly divided into intervention group（n=32）and control group（n=31）.Patients in control group received conventional nursing only,while patients in intervention group were given one-year nursing intervention besides conventional nursing.One year later,treatment compliance,asthma attacks and hospitalization times of the two groups were compared.ResultsCompared with control group,the compliance was significantly improved and the asthma attacks and hospitalization times were significantly reduced in intervention group（P＜0.01）.ConclusionNursing intervention can significantly improve the compliance of asthmatic patients,and is beneficial for the treatment of asthmatic patients and the improvement of their prognosis.
