The studies on the changes of serum enzymes,CRP and Fn in SARS patients

Objective: to evaluate the changes of serum CRP，Fn and enzymes in acute phase and convalescence of SARS patients. Methods: Serum CRP and Fn have been measured by ELISA method and LDH，CK，AST，ALT have been measured by using Hitachi 7600 automatic analyzer.Results: The increased serum CRP，LDH，CK，AST，ALT and decreased serum Fn have been found in acute phase patients.CRP and Fn will be going to normal in convalescence patients，but serum ALT and LDH activity increased constantly，whereas AST and CK were approaching to normal.Conclusion: The increased serum enzyme activity indicated that there were constantly cell injury even in the onset of illness of SARS.
