Abstract
A new method of a phased close reduction for CDH with difficulty in reduction was introduced in this article. In the first phase, patients with CDH were put into the plexiglass frame and the hip was exercised everyday. When the contracted soft structures about the hip were loosen, the second phase was carryed out, in which the dislocated femoral head was manipulated into acetabulum, and then the hip joint was fixed by the plexiglass. This method makes it possible that the patients with difficulty in reduction get treatment of close reduction. In this group of 25 dislocated hip treated by this method, 20 hips got satisfactory effects.
