Correlation between liver pathological changes and fibrosis in chronic viral hepatitis

Objective: To study the correlation between liver pathological changes and the serum markers of fibrosis in chronic viral hepatitis （CVH）.Methods: Pathological changes of liver tissue from 37 cases with CVH were studied and serum precollagen Ⅲ pre peptide （PⅢP）,laminin （LN）, collagen type Ⅳ （ⅣC） and hyaluronic acid （HA） were detected by enzyme immunoassay.Results: The levels of serum LN, ⅣC and HA were closely correlated with the degree of inflamation and bridge necrosis in liver tissues （P＜0.05~0.01）. While serum PⅢP was closely correlated with the piecemeal necrosis （P＜0.05）. Conclusion: The pathological changes in liver tissues of CVH were correlated closely with liver fibrosis.
