Application of computer-aided design and manufacture of all-ceramic crown and bridge of zirconium oxide designed and manufactured by computer aid in clinical stomatology

  • Objective To study the application of all-ceramic crown and bridge of zirconium oxide in clinical stomatology. Methods All-ceramic crowns designed and manufactured by computer aid were used in 26 patients.After the patients were followed up for 1824 months,color stability,breakage and loss ratio of the crown,and gingival health were detected to evaluate its biocompatibility,beautification and marginal fitness. Results The marginal fitness,color stability and strength of crowns,and gingival health were satisfactory in the 25 patients. Conclusion All-ceramic crown and bridge of zirconium oxide can be used in clinical stomatology with a rather good efficacy.
