Radioimmunoassay for TxAz and PGIz in some experimental investigations on thrombosis

Radioimmunoassay for TxB2 and 6-keto-PGF1 alpha in some experimental investigations onthrombosis was described.TxB2 and 6-keto-PGF1 alpha were detected in healthy persons,andtheir concentration in plasma was 127±48 pg/ml （n=40） and 138±77.9 pg/ml （n=36）,respec-tively.We found that 6-keto-PGF1 alpha in 156 specimens of the normal endometrium was elev-ated during secrestive period,and the TxB2 also increased markly during the menstrual period.Experimental DIG was induced by constant infusion of thrombin and EACA injected into the earvein of the rabbits,TxB2 and 6-keto-PGF1 alpha were increased at once.In 14 cases of under-going extracorporeal circulation,TxB2 was obviously enhanced during bypass and reached a peakvalue at 10 minutes of bypass,and then returned to the preoperative level 2—4 hours after bypass,but there were no remarkable changes in 6-keto-PGF1 alpha during bypass.The experimentalresults would be discussed in the paper.
