Analysis on treatment of mid and late stage cervical cancer pre-surgery

  • Objective:To analyze treatment to mid and late stage cervical cancer patient by pre-treatment of inner-iliac artery or the uterina artery chemotherapies and its effect to surgery.Methods: 24 samples of cervical cancer,selected by stage Ⅱ A and tumor sizes were bigger than 4cm together with stage Ⅱ B,had surgery and decrease of tumor sizes by chemotherapy,and operation complications and patients conditions post-operation were studied.Results:Tumor sizes reducesd obviously,the cervical and vagina edges had no tumor cells;the surgery complications were lower.Conclusion:stage Ⅱ A tumor size is bigger than 4cm,stage Ⅱ B cervical cancer could have surgery after chemotherapy,although the pelvic cavity organs conglutination rate is high,but surgery risk is not obvious increase,and pre-chemotherapies creates surgery condition for mid and late stage cervical cancer.
