Treatment of 58 chronic pelvic inflammation patients with Reinforcing Kidney,Clearing Heat and Removing Dampness Decoction

Objective To study the effective prescription for chronic pelvic inflammation. Methods One hundred and sixteen patients with chronic pelvic inflammation were randomly allocated into treatment group（n=58） and control group（n=58）.Patients in treatment group were given Reinforcing Kidney,Clearing Heat and Removing dampness Decoction while those in control group received routine treatment with Western drugs such as antibiotics,7d a course for 3 courses,during which symptoms,signs and B-ultrasonography findings of the patients were observed. Results The total effective rate for treatment and control groups was 94.8% and 82.8%,respectively（P＜0.05）. Conclusion The clinical effect of Reinforcing Kidney,Clearing Heat and Removing dampness Decoction on chronic pelvic inflammation is better than that of routine treatment.
