Abstract
Objective To study the factors influencing survival of patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ICC) after operation. Methods Factors influencing the survival of 91 ICC patients admitted to our hospital for operation from January 2000 to December 2010 were retrospectively analyzed. Results Multivariate analysis showed that intraoperative blood loss(>400ml vs≤400ml,HR=2.973,P=0.04) and tumor differentiation(poor vs moderate-high differentiation,HR=4.892,P=0.01) were the two independent risk factors for the survival of ICC patients after operation. Conclusion Intraoperative blood loss and tumor differentiation are the independent prognostic factors for the survival of ICC patients after operation, thus reducing intraoperative blood loss can improve the long-term prognosis of such patients.
