Cooperation of technicians in endoscopic submucosal dissection

Objective To study the techniques and methods of cooperative technicians in endoscopic submucosal dissection （ESD）. Methods ESD could be successfully performed and complications such as bleeding and perforation could be decreased by summarizing and reviewing the preparation of devices used in ESD, technical parameters, and cooperative methods of technicians. Results The key therapeutic devices used in ESD include endoscopic injector, needle-like knife, IT knife, hemostatic forceps, high frequency electrocoagulator ICC-200. By rational use of the technical parameters of electroresection and electrocoagulation, and the cooperative techniques, we performed ESD for 29 lesions in 28 patients. Conclusion Complications of ESD can be prevented by rational use of the technical parameters of electroresection and electrocoagulation, and the cooperative techniques, which are keys to the success of ESD.
