Ischemic hepatitis in aged

9 cases of ischemic hepatitis （IH） in the aged were pressented, including the iscussion and analysis of its etiology, clinical manifestation, autopsy finding, and ltrastructure of liver, as well as the relationship among them.Ischemic hepatitis attacks ostly elderly person suffering from cadio-pulmonary disease and is characterized by transient ower cadio-output and hypoxemia which can lead to central necrosis of hepatic lobuli.All of 9 ases have necrosis of liver, which is massive in 2, zonal in 1, focal in 6.2 patients died irectly of acute hepato-renal fallure at last.Ischemic hepatitis has not been reported in our ountry before. In praetic more attention should be paid to it.
