Allergen clinical analysis for chronic idiopathic urticaria by skin prick test

  • Objective To analyze the results of skin test for chronic idiopathic urticaria in which standardized allergopharma fluid was used as an allergen for skin-prick testing. Methods Thirty kinds of allergopharma allergen and normal saline were used as a negative control,while histamine was used as a positive control.The testing was performed on the palmar skin in forearm,with a space of 4cm.After an allergen fluid was dropped,it was pricked vertically.After 20-30min,the testing results were analyzed. Results Of the 150 patients enrolled,91(60.7%)had positive results with a highest positive rate of house dust mite followed by flour mite. Conclusion House dust and flour mites are the most common allergens in Beijing area.
