Preparation of the monoclonal antibodies to human C reactive protein

In our laboratory,we have obtained two hybridomas which produce the monoclonal antibodies against C reactive protein （CRP）.The method of ELIAS was used to detect the hybridomas sec- reting the monoclonal antibodies to CRP.and subclone has been carried out by limited dilution. These two sets of monoclonal antibodies secreted by GHB7 and GHB10 were purified from asci- tes by the use of QAE-Sephadex A50.For both GHB7 and GHB10.one milliliter of the ascites contains 4—5mg monoclonal antibodies.The purity which of these two sets of antibodies was te- sted by SDS gel electrophoresis,showed one band only.An isoelectrofocusing has been performed and showed that Ip of the two types of antiboaies is about pH 5.0—5.5.Now we are doing a further the two groups of antibodies for clinical application.
