Abstract
Capillary blood pressure is fairly important indicator reflecting the function of microcirculation. However, there is no suitable method for capillary blood pressure measurement in clinic at present. In this paper, a method for measuring capillary blood pressure in nail fold is reported. Capillary blood pressure in 20 health persons was mesured and a mean pressure of 25.0+5.0 mmHg. was found. When fingers were set higher or lower than the heart, the capillary blood pressure in nail fold was 22.9±5.4 mmHg, 35.6±8.9 mmHg respectively. The operation of this measurement is simple and convenient, with good repeatability, and it can be applied in clinc practice.
