The experience with the hepatic arerial embolization of hepetic malignant tumor in 120 patients

120 patients, 98 cases of unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma 92 cases of matastasis carcinoma have been treated by way of arterial digital subtraction angiography （IADSA） and transcatheter arterial embolization （TAE） with Gelform masses or Lipiodol mined with mitomycin-C. The embolitic effect of Gelform and Lipiodol was compared. The collateral artery was important in TAE. IADSA is an ideal method for diagnosis and interventional therapy of hepatic malignent tumour.
