Adjustable external fixation device for subtalar joint fracture of the calcaneal

Objective: To compare the treatment results of adjustable external fixation device and AO internal fixation plate in the subtalar joint fracture of the calcaneal.Methods: Comparing and analyzing the samplings' operation time,length of stay,Böhler angle Gissane angle and the foot function score.Results: The two groups have no significant difference in Böhler angle and Gissane angle's recovering,foot function（P＞0.05）,AO calcaneal plate group has a longer time of the operation and length of stay than the external fixation device of the calcaneal group,and got a significant difference（P＜0.01）.Conclusion: External fixation device has the advantage of more simple fixation method.
