Abstract
Objective: To investigate the changes of corneal surface regularity and tear film after laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK). Methods: Three hundred and ninety eight myopic eyes that underwent LASIK were oberserved, fluorescein staining(FL), tear break-up time(BUT), corneal topography was examined preoperatively and 1 day, 1 week, 2 week, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 1 year postoperatively. Results: The tear break-up time of whom wear contact lens was shorter than of those didn’t wear. The re were obvious decreases in BUT in 6 month postoperatively (P<0.05), but surface regularity index(SRI), surface asymmetry index(SAI) were obvious increased in 1 year postoperatively. Conclusion: LASIK does have some effects on tear film, the surface irregularity of corneal maybe the cause of dry eye after LASIK.
