Abstract
Objective To study the correlation between micro lymphatic vessel density(MLVD) of pelvic funnel ligament in endometrial adenocarcinoma and lymph node metastasis of endometrial adenocarcinoma and the role of lymphangiogenesis of pelvic funnel ligament in lymphatic metastasis of endometrial carcinoma. Methods Lymphatic vessels in pelvic funnel ligament tissue samples from 62 patients with endometrial adenocarcinoma at different phases were labeled with D2-40 using the immunohistochemistry S-P method to calculate the MLVD.Results The MLVD at Ⅲ and Ⅳ phases in pelvic funnel ligament tissue samples was higher than that at I and Ⅱphases according to the International Obstetrics and Gynecology League Phases(P<0.05).The LVD was higher in patients with lymphatic metastasis than in those without lymphatic metastasis(P<0.05).Conclusion MLVD in pelvic funnel ligament is correlated with the clinical phase, cell differentiation, depth of invasion, and lymphatic metastasis of endometrial carcinoma.
