Effect of linezolid in combination with other antibiotics on liver function of patients:A retrospective analysis

Objective To retrospectively analyze the effect of linezolid in combination with other antibiotics on liver function of patients. Methods Seventy-nine patients with lung infection were selected with the start and end time of using linezolid as the main screening criteria.The patients were treated with linezolid alone or in combination with other antibiotics for 7 days.The outcomes in 54 patients were compared after treatment with linezolid alone or in combination with other antibiotics. Results No significant difference was found in ALT and AST in the patients after treatment.However,a significant difference was found in ALT between group A and other groups with no significant difference in AST between different groups.Both ALT and AST were not significantly increased during the treatment. Conclusion linezolid in combination with other antibiotics has almost no effect on liver function of patients.
