Abstract
8 cases of endobronchial tuberculosis were treated with Nd-YAG laser, from May 1987 to August 1990, Among which 7 were successfully cured. Only one patient with scarred stenosis of the left main bronchus hadn’t any response to treatment. No severe complication was observed during or after the procedure. Nd-YAG laser treatment provides a new curative method for endobronchial tubercular granuloma. To effect a complete cure, more than one year’s antituberculosis therapy was necessary.
