Investigation of the nutritional state of patients undergin long term hemodialysis

Abstract
A study of nutritional analysis from 35 patients receiving long term hemodialysis (ⅡD) was mdde. The results showed that 57.1% patientts with deficiency of protein intake, 77.2% with low calorie intake, and most of them with insufficiency of vitamin, malnutrition account for 28.6%, those with mild malnutrition account for 40.0%, and most of the patients show a marked reduction in serum transferrin, prealbumin and albumin. It is concluded thatnearly all the HD patients suffered from long term progressive malnutrition, and much attention should be paid to rational dinef and arrect hemodialysis.
