Trehalose’s protective effects of cryopreserved skin to resist the damage of oxygeon free radical

  • Objective: To investigate the protective effects of trehalse during cryoinjury.Methods: Evaluate the level of superoxide dismutaes(SOD) and the amount of malonyldialdehyde(MDA) from the cryopreserved skin.Results: Comparing to the normal human skin, trehalose could enhance the vitality of SOD and decrease the production of MDA when the skin was frozen.(Conclusion: )It showed that trehalose may promote the ability on elimination of oxygen free radical and decrease the attack of the oxygeon free radical during cryoinjury.trehalose;oxygeon;free radical;hypothermia;skin
