The screening of acute lymphoblastic leukemia relapse related candidate genes and their bioinformatics analysis

  • Objective: To screen the acute lymphoblastic leukemia relapse related candidate genes by using the open database on line and explore the Bioinformatics information of the candidate genes. Methods: The present data were from an open database online, which were issued by the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology of the University of California at Berkeley, which had 5600 gene expression data of 23 relapse and non-relapse pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients.All data were denary logarithm transformed before statistical analysis.SAGE and GeneCard were used to find the expression patterns of candidate genes. Results: Two acute lymphoblastic leukemia relapse related candidate genes were screened out. Conclusion: There are many kinds of open human gene expression database on line.These microarray database can be used freely to screen out the interesting genes, such as acute leukemia relapse related genes.
