Atypical computed tomographic features of intracranial meningioma

Most intracranial meningioma showed characteristic CT findings, and only a small umber appeared atypically. 141 cases of this condition verified by operation and pathological xamination were reviewed, among whrch 20 cases （14.1%） had atypical CT findings: 1. onenhancing low density within a tumor mass; 2. hypodense area adjacent to tumor; 3. a tumor ith mural nodule; 4. intratumoral hemorrhage; 5. ring-like enhancerment. The pathological asis f these atypical CT features of meningioma causes of misdiagnosis was analysed.
