The Study of Clinical Effects and Mechanism of the Antithrombotic Enzyme of Agkistrodon Halys for Treatment of the Sequelae of Encephalitis in Children

20 patients with seguelae of encephalitis were treated with Agkistrodon halys antithrombo tic enzyme. The total effective rate was 75%. The study suggested that the drug possesses the effects of defibrination thrombolysis, vasodilation and microcirculatory improvement which are probably related to the raise of prostaglandin level in blood.
