Pathological changes can be controlled rat’s pancreatitis model

  • Objective: To investigate that whether different times of injection into the bile-pancreatic ducts of rats can lead different pathological changes in pancreases. Methods: 60 SD rats were randomly separated into 4 groups, test group A,group B,group C and control group, with 15 in each group. Rats in group A,B and C were given 3% taurocholate(1ml/1kg bodyweight) into their bile-pancreatic duct. The time of injection were 20s,90s,and 5 min respectively.Acute pancreatitis models were made. While rats in control group were only touched their pancreases.24h after the operation the pancrease were harvested for histopathologic analysis and blood for amylase test. Results: All of the 4 following pathological changes: edema, acinar necrotizing, hemorrhage and fat necrotis, inflammation and perivascular infiltrate in group B,group C showed significant statistical difference to control group(P<0.05).Edema showed significant statistical difference between group A and control group.acinar necrotizing showed significant statistical difference between group C and group B.The mortality in group A,B and C was 0, 20% and 40% respectively. Conclusion: The different time of injection into bile-pancreatic duct with the same concentrate taurocholate can lead different pathological changes in pancrease. That is to say,we can control the pathological changes in pancrease by controling the injection time.
