Study on the relationship between the high proliferation of gastric epithelial cells in Hp infection and the expression of TGF-α ECFR

The expression of PCNA,TGF-α and EGFR in the groups of HP infection and without HP infection were observed with immunohistochemical techniques. It was shown that the expression of TGF-α、EGFR and PCNA were significantly higher in HP infection group than in that without （P ＜0.05）. The results suggest that this increase in gastric epithelial cell proliferation was influenced by HP infection and associated with an increased risk of adenocarcinoma. The pathogenetic mechanism may be that HP infection promotes over expression of TGF-α/EGFR.
