The treatment of lyperlipemia by pollen

This paper shows the results of treatment of hyperlipemia by pollen.After taking capsules of pollen for 1.5 months,the levels of total cholesterol,β-lipoprotein and triglyceride in plasma were reduced.the reducing values are 89.50±23.53（X±SE,the followings are the same.）mg% （n=30,P＜0.001）,159.82±24.48mg%（n=22,P＜0.001）and 74.29±20.77mg%（n=25,P＜0.001） respectively.After taking the capsules for 3.0 months,the levels of totale cholesterol,triglyceride in plasma had another reduction,respectively 148.07±23.35mg% and 106.54±21.72 mg%. Between third and forth month after taking the capsules,the level of high density lipoprotein cholesterol was increased and the rising value was 7.45±1.22mg%（n=12,P＜0.001）.The results of this paper shows that pollen has a good effect treating hyperlipemia.
