Application of ventricular mapping electrode catheter in radiofrequency catheter ablation for ventricular tachycardia originating from the left posterior fascicular

  • Objective To study the application of ventricularm appling electrode catheter in radiofrequency catheter ablation(RFCA) for ventricular tachycardia originating from the left posterior fascicular. Methods Eighty patients with ventricular tachycardia originating from the left posterior fascicular were enrolled in this study and randomly divided into pace mapping group(group A) and pace mapping plus ventricularm aping electrode catheter mapping group(group B).Ablation was performed for all patients.Success operation rate, and ablation power, temperature, discharge time, frequency and impedance were compared between the two groups. Results The immediate success rate of RFCA was 97.3%(36/37) and 95.3%(41/43),respectively,for the two groups. The ablation power and temperature were lower, while the discharge time and operation time were shorter in group B than in group A(P<0.05). Conclusion Setting the ventricular mapping electrode catheter in RFCA for ventricular tachycardia originating from the left posterior fascicular can finish the operation with a lower power and temperature, and a shorter time and higher efficiency.
