The clinical adverse reaction of moxalactam

  • 14 cases of pulmonary infection treated with moxalactam were observed, daily dose of 4.0 gm being maintained for 1—2 weeks. 8 patients had hematological abnormal changes in different degrees. But functions of liver and kidneys remained normal. The causes of the hematological abnormalities and precautions in the treatment with moxalactam are discussed and suggested.
