Reoperation of recurrence of herniated intervertebral disk of 196 cases

Since 1980,We have operated herniated intervertebral disk 1923 cases and reoperated 107 cases,The reoperative rate was 5.6%,2 cases were reoperated two times.The reoperative patients came from other hospital were 89 cases.The excellent rate is 79.6%,If recurrence happened and the diagnoses were definite,we suggest that reoperation should be performed actively.
