The changes of ICE mRNA expression in systemic blood PMNs and tissues during tramatic sepsis

Objective:To evaluate the changes of ICE mRNA expression in systemic blood PMNs and tissues after CLP in rats.Methods:To adopt RT-PCR to detect ICE mRNA expression in systemic blood PMNs and tissues.Results:The ICE mRNA expression in systemic blood PMNs rised gradually after CLP,it began to decrease after reaching peak,but higher than normal.It arised in systemic blood PMNs and transfered to lungs, small intestines and livers later.Conclusions:The rise of ICE mRNA expression acts as an important role in sepsis pathogenesis.
