Abstract
Plasma cardionatrin level (PCL) was determined with radioimmunoassay method in 20 healthy subjects and 28 patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) during pre-and post-treatment period with microwave acupuncture. The results showed that PCL in the patients with CHD during pretreatment was significanty lower than in the patients during post-treatment (P<0.01) and in the healthy subjects (P<0.01). There was no significant difference between PCL in the patient with CHD during post-treatment and in the healthy subjects (P>0.05). There was signtificant difference of PCL during pre and post-treatment(P<0.01). In 10 patients with CHD complicated by hypertension, the PCL in 18 patients with normotension is not signtificanty differents between pre and post-treatment (P>0.05). Finally, the mechanism of change in PCL in the patients with CHD during pre and post-treatment was briefly discussed.
