Abstract

This paper presents 16 cases of intrathoracic thyroid which have been resected and pathologicallyproved in our department from 1970 to 1993.The relevant literature is reviewed,and the etiology,mecha-nism,classification,clinical manifestation,diagnosis anol treatmcnt are discussed.
