Induction of ovulation with HMG/HCG

Three patients suffered from primary infertility for 4 to 5 year. One of them with econdary amenorrhea was suspected to have premature ovarian failure; 2 had primary amenorrhea. iagnosed as Kallmann’s syndrome and hypothalamic-pituitary amenorrhea respectively. 2 courses f therapy were given to the first patient, who failed to have ovulation induced with the first ourse, because follicle maturation was incorrectly determined so that HMG was stopped too arly ut her second course and the two courses in cases 2 and 3 succeded. Two of them became regnant.Accurate estimation of follicle maturation and administration of HCG in time are rucial points in successfully inducing ovulation. Serum estradiol value is the most accurate ndex of follicle maturation.
