Relationship of HLA-B allele and Eales’disease

Objective: To study the relationship between HLA-B allele and the Eales’disease,and find the relative allele. Methods: 25 Eales’disease patients were selected as research group, and 25 healthy people from Blood-Devote Center were selected as control group. DNA was gain from their peripheral blood, and HLA-B allele was determined by newly PCR-SSO method. The result was studied statistically. Results: genetype was tested in the two group. No disease-caused allele was found in genetype analyze, but genetype HLA-B*15 allele was significant high in control group（P=0.0072）. Conclusion: No disease-caused allele was found in HLA-B allele in this research. But genetype HLA-B*15 allele may have great influence in anti-disease process, which mean the happen of Eales’ disease may cause by the lack of some HLA-B alleles.
