Abstract
Objective To compare the effects of different cryoprotectants on expression of α-actinin in human skin.MethodsFresh skin tissues were divided into control group, trehalose group, and DMSO group.DMSO and propylene glycol used as cryoprotectants were stored in liquid nitrogen at-196℃ for 7 days and re-warmed after 14 days. The structure of skins in different groups was compared with immunohistochemical staining.Oxygen consumption of skin grafts was measured.ResultsTrehalose and DMSO could protect skin tissues. The expression level of α-actinin in cryopreserved skin tissues was similar to that in fresh skin tissues.ConclusionThe protective effect of trehalose in combination with DMSO on skin tissues is better than traditional drugs.
