Application and evaluation of BAEP in older subjects with vertebral-Basilar ischemic diseases

BAEP,compared with CT scanning,was studied in 50 cases of vertebral-basilar ischemic diseases.Of these,positive results of BAEP were obtained in 30（62%）cases,while only 15（30%） cases revealed abnrmat CT findings.Through dynamic observations it was proved that the improvement of BAEP findings was closely related to their clinical menifestations.BAEP is a feasible,save,nan-invasive examination,especially in the early diagnosis of vertebral-basilar ischemic diseases in older subjects.
