The influence of the lung metabolism in the smokers

Abstract

The influence of the lung metablism in smokers were observed with ¹³¹I-HIPDM. Prolongation of ¹³¹I-HIPDM clearance in the lung was exhibited in the smokers with COPD in the 60 minutes and the normal smokers, smokers with COPD in the 24 hours after ¹³¹I-HIPDM injection. The result indicates that smoking is an important factor for lung metabolic disturbance.
